I complained to Toyota and I was told that they don't recommend running out of gas.

I feel that there should be some warning about the dire consequences-(not that I don't know better)-The warning light did not appear though I did have a blinking "one bar" and was on my way to get gas. I had done this when my car was brand new and the warning light had turned red and it said something like "get gas".
