Prius

  • Automatic transmission
  • 120,000 miles

I've never had a car that suffered from water in the headlights. And it's so difficult to replace them, they charge $700! Bad design and highway robbery! I'll think twice about buying another Toyota. Aggravating!

Prius Touring hybrid

  • Automatic transmission
  • 88,000 miles

With 88,000 miles my Prius 2009 has water/condensation in the left side headlight housing. Took it to the Toyota dealer who claims the headlight seal is no longer tight and allowed water to get in. Replacement cost is estimated at approx. $400-500. This is horrible. The car was never in an accident and always garaged.

PS: My daughter has a 2007 Prius with the same issue.
