My Prius did the same thing. Replaced passenger in December - last week BOTH out. Took to Toyota. Drivers side "melted" and needs a whole replacement. Reading TONS of information about this happening to other models... but not the 13 - YET!

Go for Prius??? not after 100K.... ready to pay $42/month for lower beam...Save gas...pay for lights...
