Brand new car drove about 400 miles went on vacation. Returned to find car dead. No battery. The dealer told me "that happens if you don't drive it enough to charge battery" so basically they are telling me to drive more than I need or want to just so the car battery will stay charged.
I have had a 2007 Prius & loved it. Never had this problem. I travel a great deal . I can't return from a trip only to find a dead car.
No support from the dealer who was only to anxious to sell me the car and never mentioned the problem

Bought the car from inside the dealership and they had to jump start the battery to start the car. I didn't make a big deal about it because they said "it was sitting idle for sometime and the battery needed to recharge." It happened again twice so far: Two days ago, when I first pressed the start button, all the warning lights lit up and nothing happened, but then when I pushed the button again, it started.
Today, when I pressed the start button all the warning lights came on, and when I pressed it again, all the warning lights were blinking crazy. Had to have the battery jumped.
Taking it to the dealership tonight.
