My wife and I were driving our 2021 Toyota Prius when the windshield was struck by a pebble toward the center of the windshield. There was a small defect at the site of impact which rapidly grew (within about 24 hours) to extend to two edges of the windshield. This required a full replacement. I post here because I would love to hear if there are other people with similar experiences (windshields that cracked at low mileage from what seemed like minimal impact). Toyota had a problem with earlier models (2016) having windshields that cracked easily and at low mileage. I am merely wondering if this problem went unfixed? The unreported problem is the hidden problem that costs all of us our hard-earned dollars. There will always be room for another class action suit if enough people have had similar experiences, so speak up. (I could also be wrong and we were just unlucky that day).
