This is not the first time. About two years ago, 2019, the passenger rear seatbelt broke in that the strap looked like it was frayed straight across (i must happen inside the rewind section). Just in the last week in March, 2020, the rear driver seatbelt broke in the same way.

It is obviously a manufacturing issue. We primarily use the front seats, rarely the back seats and the seatbelts were rarely utilized.

I reported it to TOYOTA and there was no response. I sent pictures and this is just very upsetting and frustrating. I will be very careful in buying my next car - not sure it will be a Toyota because I find breaking seatbelts an extreme safety hazard.
