Prius c TWO

  • CVT transmission
  • 31,500 miles

31,500 Miles only when my Prius C started blowing hot air from the vents when I turned the air conditioner on. I immediately took it to the local dealership (who has always performed the scheduled maintenances on the car since I purchased it new from them). Their mechanic said the A/C compressor was defective and had to be replaced -- this happens 2 MONTHS AFTER THE 3 YEAR/36,000 WARRANTY EXPIRES!! The cost of repair: parts, $1684.23 and labor $540. I should not have had to pay a dime out-of-pocket, parts or labor, for Toyota's defective part.
