I have taken this vehicle into the servicing dealer three times and now have pending litigation for lemon law. This started shortly after the replaced the navigation system. Driving along and the systems decided to place a random call from our contact list while driving. Phone was located in the center console and visible. No one touch it. I did not touch any commands on the steering wheel. It just popped up and attempted to connect. We thought it was strange and mentioned the occurrence to the servicing dealer. Dealer service manager stated that the Toyota Factory Service rep stated that they were experiencing similar issues and that Toyota had issues the iphones to all of their staff in an attempt to correct this issue. Then it happened again and again. Each time no contact with the phone. So since we both had Iphone 5s models it was time to upgrade which we did. I went with the iphone 6s and my wife selected the iphone 6se. We sync both of them in hopes that this issue would be resolved. It continued even with the new phones.
Was told that the operating system may be the issues and that Apple was working on a correction. Contacted Apple to discover the "He said, She Said" finger pointing. They are claiming not there problem and that Toyota has a known issue with their product.
