In the last 12 months we have had three out of six on-plug coils fail. All have been the original EOM coils. We have requested the dealer replace the remaining coils uder warranty and they have refused. They informed me they the original coils are defective and they will only replace them when they fail under warranty (if you still have one) or we can pay parts and labor to have them replaced. This is my first and last Toyota.
