After I had my new 2007 RAV4 for about half year, I experienced sudden lockup, felt couldn't go even 10 meters with smoking. My driving speed was about 20-30kmh, just out of garage about 200 meters,and my neighbor saw the smoke as well. He jumped into my car, and checked if I was using emergency brake, no, I wasn't using that. I called Country Hill Toyota, Calgary, Alberta, and they towed my RAV4 away. Next day, they told me that they found nothing, the car was OK. I also called AMA(Alberta Motor Association), get nothing.
