I have noticed for years that my Toyota Rav 4 wheels had rust like I have never seen on a vehicle. But I figured it was just cosmetic. The rust is SO bad now that the wheels are compromised and could cause the wheel to come off of the vehicle. I read that this is because of a design flaw that doesn't allow water to drain properly. I called Toyota and I got a case number but end result was "it's not under warranty". It's a DESIGN flaw that is likely to lead to vehicle failure while driving. WTH Toyota?????
