I have a 2008 Toyota Rav4 that I purchased brand new from Stephens Toyota in Bristol Connecticut. Over the past week or so it's been raining pretty heavily here and I noticed a slight odor in my truck but couldn't figure out where it was coming from. I finally realized that my passenger side floor was soaking wet--I mean soaked! I thought maybe I just didn't close the door right or something but a few days later it rained again and again-wet passenger side floor. So I called Stephens Toyota and spoke to the receptionist in service (Carol) who informed me that several people have called with that same problem over the past week because of all the rain and that it's most likely a plugged air conditioner hose causing water to come up through the floor instead of draining out the bottom of the vehicle. She then proceeded to tell me that it would cost me $100 to have it fixed and deoderized!! So I then called a general customer service line for Toyota and was told that there has not been a recall about that issue (even though she asked me if it started to smell yet) and each dealership can charge what they want for services and that maybe I should call around to different dealerships. Oh and since my warranty is up (it's for 36000 miles and I'm at 49000) there's really nothing I can do.
I AM APPALLED! I will say this- I WILL NEVER PURCHASE ANOTHER TOYOTA AGAIN! I am not one to complain--I have never posted a complaint on line before. But knowing that this is an issue universally with Toyota I cannot believe ethically they are charging people to get it fixed. Unbelievable.

I replaced the motor, replaced the transmission and had a new computer put in and fuel pump replaced, still more problems
Update from Jan 17, 2019: My passenger floorboard is soaked and moldy
