2011 Toyota Rav 4 Problem - When I remove my foot off the Gas pedal to slow down to take a turn [ not all the time ]. The car will accelerate forward [ Very scary],and my foot is off the Gas pedal. Very Dangerous.Diagnostic test shows nothing. There is a problem. An accident waiting to happen.

Left work - sitting at the stop sign waiting to proceed - the car suddenly began accelerating making revving up noises and literally speeding up while braking; I was stopped; pulling the car forward again while I was braking frantically - scared to death. Then it suddenly lurched out onto the roadway and smashed into a car passing by causing considerable damage to his car and I am not sure but my car looks totaled; let alone I'll never step foot into it again anyway - it's a death trap.
This was my second terrifying adventure with this accelerating problem but the first time I was slowing to about 3 mph to park and it went into this accelerating horror but I hit the curve and a post and it stalled out, thank goodness - no damage but.... There are literally hundreds of complaints relating to exactly my nightmare experience herein and others which are worse.
I opened a case with Toyota - they'll take the black box. Better not deny it as I've been told they will and seem to read it also. No way, next is my attorney. Yes I do have insurance coverage that now I'll have to take the loss the bad hit and my fault issue NOT of the accident and a ticket due to "going thru the stop sign" NOT which will entail another fight in court in 30 days!
How about a Class Action Suit against Toyota? Any thoughts or open litigation out there for this deadly mechanical failure? I'm willing to sign on.
Update from Nov 12, 2021: Vehicle was totaled after I put $700.00 new tires on it!! My insurance company paid for it in my name so I got F**cked. for $3300 to repair his and totaled mine so replaced at $11,000 from insurance plus out of pocket $10,000. Solution fixed but on my dollar and my good name!! Surcharged for 3 years punishment for Toyota's mechanical defaults & failures. Bought a Hyundai Kona - cheap, but reliable and remarkably adorable.
