2012 Toyota rav 4. consumer writes in regards to vehicle sudden acceleration. The consumer stated on six occasions, the vehicle accelerated, when the brake was applied. The brake pedal was about 2 1/2 inches away from the accelerator pedal. The consumer believed the pedals were designed too close together.
