Similar to many other Blizzard Pearl White Rav4's, my wife's has started to peel. Toyota will not do anything about it and has no plan to issue any type of TSB in the future. So much for Toyota reliability. This experience has definitely ruined any plans for me to buy Toyota in the future. The exterior should be Toyota's symbol of quality. For a 5 year old car to peel worse than my 20 year old pickup (still not peeling), I will shout this from the rooftops to anyone thinking of investing in a Toyota vehicle.

Washing the car and found numerous small rust spots beginning to show all over the car. Car is garage kept. Will update once I've taken it to Toyota to give their opinion.

Paint on the hood chips very easily. I have excessive paint chips on my hood and one area is starting to blister. I recently hand waxed the vehicle and noticed the paint on the hood does not have the same depth and shine as the paint on the rest of the car.
When we had the vehicle serviced we had the paint inspected at the dealership. They acknowledge that there was a lot of paint chips and that the blistering was caused due to a paint chip.
The dealership refused to do anything to rectify the problem and referred us to another company they own so that we could have the chips repaired at our own expense.

We had 2010 RAV4 that also did the same thing! The paints rusting after 1 year?

Toyota has the best reputation on the market but I can't believe that the paint on my RAV4 is so bad.
Toyota dealer have already taken some pictures for these rust spots on my car and they said they will send them to their HQ for decision. I am still waiting for their reply now.
