My 2014 RAV4 car radio screen is not functioning in that it seems the screen display has 'moved'. When trying to pair a new phone recently Aug 2020, I cannot press the add or remove at the bottom of the radio screen. The radio controls AM FM Bluetooth, Audio, car mileage, etc. The dealership contact tried to install the phone and said the service needed to investigate the problem and a new radio would cost $1,300 to replace it entirely. I have an appointment today to get a mechanic to look at it and see if it's computer software update needed or he can fix it. If not, the car has 100,000 miles on it and in perfect condition as I take care of it. I am a 4 time Toyota car owner since 1972 I had my first Toyota. I will also call Toyota at 800-331-4331 and contact the local District Service Manager about this and check into others similar problems for assistance.

The radio started flickering then stuck on starting loop. Its known issue all Rav4 radios from 12-15 will fail . Toyota will not replace these . They will ask you for 4k to put a new one. Just put an aftermarket one for much cheaper.
