I bought a Toyota RAV 4 2014 model in September 2014. Wthin 1 year of usage in Abu Dhabi (with smooth road) I discovered the brake pad had eaten, Although I was told initially in June didn't take them serious during a routine service because I have never heard of new car having bad brake pad within 1 year. A friend working with Toyota told me it wasn't true that the sale Engineer was not serious. However, 2 weeks go the car started showing signs of bad brake pad with cracking noise. On asking Toyota they said its confusion not covered in warranty.
My confusion is can a new car have its brake pad worn out completely within 1 year over 7000 km.
