Sent email and spoke with Toyota Customer Service. They just want me to leave it with the dealer. However, no one will listen. I originally drove an LE and it did the very same thing. I came to a stop and made a U-Turn as I tried to accelerate the RAV stalled and as I accelerated more it would not. Went around 20 mph. I said Whow what is happening. The salesperson said oh just hit the sport button. I did and it took off. Toyota said leave with the dealer I told them that it happened on the LE they will not be able to replicate with mine have them practice on their own. They told me that the dealer would have to have my vehicle. I said I need the vehicle on a day to day basis (hoping they would then offer a loaner) NOPE. They said the dealer will have to have it for a white. Needless to say I did not take it in but I have tried to accelerate quicker and that seems to help.
Update from Jan 16, 2020: We now have 30000 miles on the RAV4. I changed the air filter to a K&N. That seemed to help for awhile. Then the stalling came back. This is very hard to duplicate. Take to a dealer and they will want to keep it for at least a week and probably won't find the issue. Toyota had told me in the beginning they would pick it up and drive it for at least a week. However, they would not offer a loaner nor say how many miles they would put on it. There was no guarantee of how the vehicle would be driven or tested. So, I didn't accept the offer. Still a great vehicle but this scares me. You pull out in traffic and it could stall at anytime.

While making left turns, (at speed) the engine tends to lose power and almost dies out. I have never experienced this on a fuel injected vehicle. It has happened more than 6 times now and I have an appointment to have it checked out.
With traffic approaching this can be very dangerous.
