I was told by the dealership that there was an oil leak which was possibly the rear main seal. I was told to check the oil level on a regular basis. Took the car to the dealership for diagnosis ($175.00) and said it was the rear main seal and would cost $3,700 but would deduct the $175 from the cost if they did the work. I have driven the car for several months and have noticed a few drops of oil on the cardboard I placed on garage floor but no significant drop on the dip stick which I check regularly. Is this just my vehicle or have there been any others with this problem?
