I own a 2018 RAV4 which is still under warranty. On a resent state inspection I found out that my front brakes were worn uneven. The car only has 10,500 miles. I took the car to my local dealer where I bought the car for them to check it under warranty. They found that the brake caliper pins had seized causing the damage. They told me it was because the car wasn't driven enough and they would not cover the repair. It is unacceptable for caliper pins to seize on a new vehicle. I have reported it to the Toyota complaint line with on help from them for replacement costs. I have just filed complaints against Toyota and the dealer with the BBB. Right now my car is left in limbo as I feel it is unsafe to drive.
