Driving my 2018 RAV4 at 65mph on an interstate highway in the rain, when the sunroof literally exploded spewing glass throughout the vehicle.
Drove straight to the dealer where the vehicle was purchased and was told Toyota would not pay for the repair. Service manager said a rock must have hit the sunroof.
After researching the issue on google and youtube, almost every auto manufacturer has this issue with their sunroofs. Hyundai did issue a recall several years ago after hundreds of complaints.
I've registered my complaint with the NHTSA.gov website & I urge others with this issue to do the same.
