I purchased a new 2019 Toyota Limited Rav-4. It is terrible noisy on the highway. I didn’t drive it on the highway until after i purchased it. Had I driven it before the purchase, I would not have bought this vehicle. I know Edmunds and some of the other reviews mentioned that there was some noise. But the noise is REALLY bad. Toyota should bed embarrassed about this. This is the only vehicle my wife and I have. Because of finances, I am required to keep this vehicle for awhile. Believe me I intend to trade this off as soon as I am financially able.

I purchased the 2019 Rav4 brand new and I have barely put 1,300 miles on it and it is already making the driving unpleasant. The engine is making a loud noise every time I accelerate after a red light stop or trying to leave a parking lot. Worst of all comes, when I try to accelerate on highway and it just jumps. Very disappointed at my purchase.

Engine noise is too loud at mid/full acceleration that I can barely hear anyone talking or the radio in the vehicle. It makes driving less fun. Disappointing for a 2019 Toyota car which was best seller last year. I'll wait another few months to see if there will be a recall/fix.

Any car basic functionality is comfortable ride. I don’t know how Toyota designed new 2019 Rav4. With lot of cabin and engine noise, I am not able to bear that sound. If they don’t recall the car and do some fixes, I will try to sell the car. This will be my last Toyota car.

The engine is noisy inside the cabin, particularly during acceleration. The vehicle has no sound insulation under the hood. (The 2019 hybrid RAV4 reportedly does.)

Since new, my wife's 2019 Toyota Rav-4 XLE is very noisy on acceleration and the engine itself is very loud overall. Other than that, we love the SUV, however, this is annoying enough that we would not buy/lease another one. Very surprising given that it has the exact same engine as the Camry, and it is virtually silent. I have not contacted Toyota about this yet, but plan to this week. My wife previously had a 2017 RAV, and it was very quite. Other than that, the 2019 is a home run.
