It started when we bought the car in Jan 2019, the lag, hard shifting, grumbling noise, high revving when going up a hill, they totally blew me off after bringing it to their attention. We would constantly be paying for diagnostics only for them to tell me its fine. They couldn't find anything. That the lag is normal!!! This went on for months and months. They pretty much blew us off every time. Finally, it got to the point where Customs Relations manager got involved, only to get a refurbished transmission under out Lifetime warranty coverage.

A REFURBISHED ONE!!! The problem still persists but I refuse to go back to Joseph Toyota of Colerain in Cincinnati, I will never go back to that place after we were treated very poorly. So therefore due to the toxic environment after dealing with my transmission, I left and it voided my warranty due to the companies lack of customer service. At that point I felt like anything they did to the car just cost me more money or just to shut me up. So now I have a refurbished tranny and no lifetime warranty with Toyota due to toxic and untrustworthy relationship with Joseph Toyota. Still the same problems just with another transmission.
