The contact stated while driving 70 MPH, the rear passenger-??s tire detached from the rim. The contact stated that the failure had occurred while driving on a three-lane highway. The vehicle was driven over to the shoulder of the roadway. The contact inspected the vehicle and noticed that the passenger-??s side rear tire had detached from the rim. Roadside Assistance was contacted and replaced the wheel with the spare tire. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure but provided no assistance. The contact was advised that without a part of the tire, no assistance would be provided. The failure mileage was approximately 7,000.

I was driving on the Highway at 70 mph and the rear passenger tire blew out. Thank God I was able to stopped the car safely and no one was injured. It was a scary moment and it is still is.My safety and other was at risk It is a brand new car with only 4397 miles. I took the car to the dealership and they replaced the tire.
