Black wheels not completely painted, areas missing paint.
The car was bought new. The wheel paint problem is a factory defect delivered as such. Probably a supplier error/defect. The problem is very irritating to see every time I clean the wheels, which I do often because of their gloss black color. Toyota, probably because it is not a safety issue, will not repair/replace this obvious aesthetic issue. They will not back the quality of their product as it is delivered from the factory! I have family members that are diehard Honda people and when theyve had issues like this Honda has backed their product much better than Toyota. So if you are looking for a manufacture that is better at backing the quality of their product, go with Honda. I will probably do that with my next purchase. Im thinking of replacing the Toyota wheels with an after market product of better quality.
