We have the worst Toyota auto shop in American Samoa that does real bad work. I've changed this handle and it kept on breaking because I know it was not fixed probably. I've given up on changing them so I just use the wire from inside to open the door.

Poor part manufacturing, it snapped/broke-off 2 times from a woman's hands???

No wonder parts is plenty available at dealership.

I am now replacing the interior handles of my Toyota Sequoia for the second time around. Even the back hatch has broken. The dealership is charging $500 + each time. What a scam. It is obviously a poorly designed, flawed handle and system and yet once again Toyota won't own up to their mistakes and their customers are forced to pay the price. No more Toyota's in this family.
