We have endured the problem with this, because it's just too expensive to repair. However after reading the many complaints on this subject, from many model years, including ours, I'm inclined to have it repaired. However, after reading and digging further, I get the impression that the NHTSA is about to put the full court press on Toyota. Since this possible pressure may be coming soon, we decided to put the brakes on and step back to see what's about to happen. I have friends and family that swear by Toyota, but after my Father-in Laws Tundra engine blew a rod just cruising down the interstate, our Sequoia issues......and ALL the other complaints on this and several other significant issues, like steering, brakes, suspension....etc. NO MORE Toyota!!! Should've stayed with Chevy since my Suburban got 493,000 miles on it before having to replace the first engine.......That's dependability.........Toyota trucks and SUV's are all hype based on Camry and Corolla success.......NOT EVEN CLOSE.

IF YOU HAVE HAVING THE VSC TRAC LIGHTS COME ON WHILE DRIVING AND YOUR VEHICLE IS AFFECTED (LOAD GRINDING, PULSATING BRAKES, SHAKING) REPORT THIS TO TOYOTA BY CALLING 1-800-331-4331. THEY HAVE RECALLED 2003 TOYOTAS SEQUOIA'S FOR THIS SAME PROBLEM. THEY HAVE NOT RECALLED 2004'S YET BECAUSE NOT ENOUGH PEOPLE HAVE REPORTED THE ISSUE. PLEASE REPORT IT! I DON'T WANT TO PAY TO FIX THIS PROBLEM AND I THINK TOYOTA SHOULD RECALL THE VEHICLE. PLEASE REPORT IT. THEY WILL NEVER RECALL IF WE ARE NOT REPORTING IT!
