Sequoia 8-cyl

I have a 2006 Toyota Sequoia with 86,000 miles on it and I am putting my third set of tires on it. I keep my car maintained in all aspects including tire rotation and balance and alignments. The wear on my tires is not from neglect. They are also high quality tires, not cheap. I have had everything checked out at the Toyota dealership and they say there is nothing wrong with the vehicle. Something is definitely wrong for the tires to wear out this quickly, all three sets!! Toyota needs to address this issue and fix it because I am not the only one having this problem according to forums and blogs I read online.

While rotating my tires the serviceman noticed a bulge on my inside sidewall of the tire. A check of the rest of the tires resulted in three of the tire having a bulge on the inside sidewall, one almost to a point of bursting. I got on the hankook website and noticed that there was a tire recall to almost the same tire. The tire was a 70 and mine is a 65. The description given for the recall is what is happening to mine. The side wall is defective. The tire in question is the hankook 265/65R17 dynapro as.

I am having unusual tire wear on the outside edge of all 4 tires on my vehicle (2006 Toyota Sequoia), to the point of becoming bald. I have been relaying my concern to the dealer for the past 11K miles. The vehicle currently has 21K miles on it. The vehicle has been aligned 3 times by manufacturer dealers, the front ball joints have been replaced and the vehicle has been thoroughly inspected by district level manufacturer's people. They are saying nothing is wrong with the vehicle, but I have been doing some research and am finding that this has been a complaint on the same model of vehicle since 2002. I feel that the suspension of this vehicle is not allowing it to ride properly on the tires, thus causing this premature wear. The problem seems to be on bf goodrich, Bridgestone and in particular, dunlop tires.

2006 Toyota Sequoia, SR5; dunlop AT20 grandtrek tires, P265/65R17; 4K miles; since new, vehicle has a shimmy starting at 32 mph and beyond; dealership has inspected 3 times, reportedly re-balancing wheels once and equalized all tire pressures. Problem not solved! test drove another like vehicle, similar problem. Other same vehicles' owners have similar complaints. Reported to Toyota customer service; no resolution! please advise of any similar problems with tires/rims/vehicle/warping of drive axle, etc. Thank you.
