Sienna XLE 3.2L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 78,168 miles

Transmission replacement is ridiculously expensive and Toyota service guarantee is absolutely pathetic. Toyota should learn from Tesla.

I had lot of trust on Toyota before and now changed my mind. From this website it is very evident that this problem is known for this model , yet, Toyota did not care to recall to address the problem.

Sienna Sand 3.0L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 148,500 miles

Bought the car used at 60,000. No significant problems with the car for the 85,000 miles I have owned it. It has been very reliable, comfortable and met our needs for 7 years. I would give the car a high ranking.

But over the past week the transmission has given us problems, and today a reliable mechanic checked it out and said it would have to be replaced, for $3800. Before considering the transmission problems, the car is worth $5,000-$5,600, so this is a real bummer.
