melting dashboard...have styrofoam crumbling in my interior
I HAVE HAD THIS PROBLEM FOR ABOUT A YEAR NOW (TODAY IS 9/7/2016)..I ENDED UP PUTTING A SEALER ON THE DASH TO KEEP IT FROM SPREADING STYROFOAM ALL OVER THE INTERIOR.
TOYOTA RECENTLY SENT ME A NOTIFICATION IN THE MAIL ABOUT THEIR PLANS TO EXTEND THE WARRANTY ON MY SIENNA VAN'S DASHBOARD. I WAS TO TAKE IT IN TO A DEALER TO MAKE SURE THAT I QUALIFIED FOR THE NEW DASHBOARD ..I DID. PEOPLE AT THE DEALERSHIP SAID THAT I DID QUALIFY FOR THE REPLACEMENT BUT THAT THESE DASHBOARDS HAVE BEEN ON BACK ORDER FOR ALMOST A YEAR..
HOW CAN THIS BE? I JUST GOT THE NOTICE A MONTH OR SO AGO.. I SHOULDN'T HAVE TO WAIT A YEAR FOR THIS REPLACEMENT .. IT'S TIME TO GET A NEW VAN "MR. TOYOTA" I CAN'T SELL OR TRADE THIS VAN IN IT'S CURRENT CONDITION. I LOSE MONEY EVERY DAY I HAVE TO WAIT FOR THIS REPLACEMENT . MAKING IT HARD TO BUY ANOTHER TOYOTA..PLEASE DO THE RIGHT THING
