Sienna LXE

  • Automatic transmission
  • 32,000 miles

The run flat tires are horrible. Toyota knows about this issue but refuse to acknowledge it publicly. Replaced over 12 tires since owning car and went through 8 tires in 2 years. Purchased new in 2006 and had nothing but headaches with the tires premature wearing, wearing unevenly, flats and slow leaks.

Sienna AWD LE

  • Automatic transmission
  • 30,000 miles

Had to pay for new tires and rims- run flats went flat but no reason. Bought regular tires and then discovered rims were not true round and air continued to escape. Dealer did nothing. This went on for a year constantly getting air in tires . Bought new rims but by that time the constant low air had prematurely wore out the second set of Cooper tires.

I had reported the original run flat and rim problem to: Nathan Ong BLF Technologies inc. On assignment with: National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Department of Transportation 202.366.1020 and sent him pictures . I have not heard anything more from the NHTSA but know there are many Toyota owners out there with the same problem.

Run flat tires go flat after 25000 miles and toyota or dunlop will do nothing to take care of this problem.
