Both sliding doors cannot be opened, they are permanently locked but can still open unexpectedly while driving. If we use the doors sometimes we cannot shut the door. One door is automatic the other is manual. We attempted to replace the manual door latch since that was the least expensive fix but we were told by the mechanic that the latch used in the manual door is an automatic door latch making the repair too expensive. Entry to the van is through the trunk or over the front seat..... excellent advertising for the brand. Everyone buckled in so that when and if the side doors open we hopefully don't loose a passenger.
Why the recall for only 2011-current Sienna's when the problem exists in older models?
