Sienna SE 3.5L

Overhead console assembly inoperative

The issue had been addressed and trigger a recall in the US.

But not for Canadian customers??? Do we have different cars from US Customers? Do we pay less for the Sienna? Or we have Identical car Assembled in Indiana?

Can anybody shed a light on this issue? I spoke to Toyota Canada, It did not help, this car is my 4th Toyota and it would be the last one if they do not solve the problem fairly.
