This is the 2nd Toyota Sienna that has had the Mouse and Rat friendly wiring harness eaten by Rodents. When taken to Toyota Dealership they said this was not covered under Warranty. I have had 3 brand new Sienna's and the 2020 Sienna SE only had 1,390 km and was only 1 month old when check engine lights came on etc. I am now waiting 2 weeks for Toyota Dealership to have wires sent from California (only one available.) The minimum cost has been estimated at $1,300 + +.
The Intake Manifold has to be removed on the Brand New Van. Not happy at all. The 2011 Sienna also had the same problem approximately 5 months after Brand new purchase. I would have thought that Toyota would have a fix for this problem in 9 years and was shocked when a $50,000 vehicle had the same problem in 2020. After buying 3 Brand New Toyota Vans, I am not sure if I will ever buy another Toyota product..
