While driving at 55 mph consumer noticed that the vehicle had suddenly started to accelerate on its own. When brakes were applied they did not respond. Vehicle was slowed down, but would not come to a stop. To bring vehicle under control, consumer placed transmission gear into neutral. Dealer was contacted.
