The wire harness stopped working, power to the trailer was off. Recall 01E041000 trailer towing wire harness. Dealership was aware of problem. Consumer was concerned at this point because dealership will not warranty for recall. Also it was an after market product.

Vehicle caught on fire sitting in driveway for two hours after last use. Fire was extinguished with extinguisher. Sport city Toyota would not take the vehicle on trade until after a letter from gulf state Toyota declared there was no fire. Determination was made by teir inspector. The service manager at sport city was aware of the fire. Sport city would not take the vehicle on trade due to concerns of assuming liability. Toyta national refuses to recognize there was a fire. Traded the truck at a different Toyota dealership (fowler Toyota). First appraisal form noted the truck had been on fire. That form was destroyed and new one was issued with no mention of the fire. Toyota and its dealerships have done their very best to cover this up. I will be pursuing other avenues to recover my losses.
