The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer for inspection and they stated that the contact must have spilled something on the seat belt. The manufacturer was notified and offered no asssitance. The manufacturer also stated that the warranty was expired. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 206,000.
