My wife and myself was driving and the 4x4 light started flashing while the selector switch was still in 2hi when i stopped and switched from 2 hi to 4hi then back it stopped flashing and 4LO started flashing but 4x4 solid.

i switched key off and on several times even undone battery then unplugged all plugs on transfer case then plugged back up then differential the truck stayed in 4x4 so now i guess i have to take off the front diff actuator and manually slide the sleeve out of lock to free manually anyone else have this problem
