in the morning, when 1st starting the truck, i backup, and when turning slightly to the left, a grinding noise as if gears are grinding, ONLY to the left.
Also when engine cold, i had to get on it to get out of the way and when auto transmission changed gears, there was a LOUD thump underneath, I thought i dropped transmission.
this happened several times but only when cold and as i entered an accelerating lane on interstate.
I simply DO NOT accelerate rapidly unless truck is warm.
toyota dealership told me several times it was rust/ condensation on rotors, i practically told them they were full of sh*t . they probably thought the same about me because by time i reached the dealership it was warm and would not do it and i never left it overnight.
it has a 120k miles on it, i just take it easy on her at least until she is warm
