This problem may be covered under warranty. Ask your Toyota dealer.
Shortly after purchasing a Certified Pre Owned 2011 Tacoma TX Pro the AC blower motor started making a continuous noise which sounded like the bearings giving out or the blower out of alignment.
Was covered under extended warranty.

I haven't taken my Tacoma in to get fixed yet because almost all posts online with this same problem say that after they get the fan replaced, it starts the EXTREMELY ANNOYING TICKING SOUND again after a very short while.
I'm hoping Toyota will cycle through the DEFECTIVE FANS, because they certainly aren't willing to discard them and give you a properly functioning fan.

Dealer replaced the blower motor . Noise was audible on low speed only.

Contacting the dealership they said something probably entered the system from the outside vent. The filter has always been in place to prevent debris entering the system.

The Toyota dealership took care of the problem, after waiting 2 weeks to get the part needed.

The heater blower fan motor is making a lot of clicking and squealing noises. It sounds to me like the motor bearing has gone bad. This appears to be a common problem with the 2011 Toyota Tacoma models, as a good friend has the same problem with his Tacoma.
