In Canada we have winter. When the temperature outside is about -5 C or 20 above F and colder my 2013 Tacoma has a distinct rattle in the front. It sounds like a mechanical sound and not an exhaust rattle or a heat shield. It sounds like a drive shaft slipping in the yoke. When the truck warms up to running temp the sound stops. In the summer when its warm there is no issue. This is very frustrating. I have had the truck in to two different dealers on three different occasions and they can't find the problem. I had the truck at Southgate Toyota in Edmonton for a week and then a couple days and they couldn't find the problem. They did things like washing mud out of the fenders?? and still charged me $200 even though the truck was under full warranty. Has anyone had this problem and can it be fixed? I assume it can if the issue can be identified.
