On March-12-18 driving at approximately 35 MPH my electrical panel began reading zero oil pressure, zero transmission fluid as everything got very silent with no power. I turned on my flashers and drifted to a stop turned the engine off waited a few fast heart beats then re-started the vehicle.
Took it to the local Toyota dealer they kept it for two days and could not get it to repeat itself. They recommended I remove my after market cold air intake witch I'm going to do after stating I don't think it's the problem. The reason I don't think it's the problem is because this is the second time the truck shut down completely, it happened before in Jan-2018. That time the Toyota dealer where I purchased the Tacoma after testing (plug & play) said it was the crank shaft sensor and replaced it. This could be a very dangerous if I'm going 70 MPH on the freeway and the truck shuts down I could get seriously hurt or worse. I think there's an electrical problem that's not going away.
Looking forward to talking to the dealer/adviser I purchased the truck from next week when he returns from vacation. Now I'm afraid to drive anywhere but locally in case it happens again.
