Well it is ridiculous that a Toyota, that I have bragged for years of how durable they are; has a issue like this. Our 2006 Tundra which we bought new, just now after 278,000 miles just now had this issue. Toyota needs to pick it up! We pay a premium for your product and we expect nothing but excellence.

So many failures of this part - Toyota has a 9 month back order on replacement part. I ordered mine from an aftermarket supplier, should arrive in a week. Easy job to replace it if you have any, even minimal experience fixing stuff. Still, 40K miles and no AC! In Tucson Arizona... its 111 degrees today, unacceptable. Toyota needs to do a recall.
I removed mine, super-glued the cracked wheel, placed two zip-ties around it and am holding my breath until the replacement arrives. Took 15 min to remove the fan/motor, pretty easy.
