My Tacoma has been my baby since the beginning. I own a 2016 Corolla, the 2017 Tacoma and a 2021 Supra. I have always been faithful to the Toyota brand. At 60101 miles I noticed that my Tacoma was leaking. After having the dealership verify the leak, it turns out to be coming from the timing chain cover. To my luck, the dealer informed me that in order to be covered by the warranty, I had to be under 60001 miles.
As I mentioned previously, I have always been faithful to the brand but, I am starting to consider seeking elsewhere.
The repair was done two times. When the leak was found again for a third time, I traded it in. Some places will not mention the leak unless the oil is dripping on the floor or the customer mentions it.
