I get a weird grinding/belt sound RIGHT as I turn on the AC. In the spring, when I hadn't used the AC all winter, it was so bad it almost stalled the truck. The truck has to sit for about a week - otherwise, I don't get the sound. It can be running for a while, but if the AC hasn't been cycled for about a week I'll get this sound when I do finally turn it on. Belt seems fine even though I see older TSBs for replacement belts (no recalls for my vin though).

There are times it's louder / quieter.

The issue did eventually go away and it's uncertain if it will return. I have 3 separate videos total of the grinding/belt rubbing sound. I've found other 2019 Tacoma owners with the same issues.

Just worth adding feedback where valuable. Thanks.
