After addressing the fuel pump recall twice, the EVAP canister failed at ~ 22800 miles. The local Toyota dealership had to special order the part, which took two days. The dealer cleared the "Check Engine" light so that I could drive home while the part was on order, but not certain of any safety impacts due to the failed EVAP canister. After replacement, the truck seems to run better. We are disappointed in the initial reliability of this vehicle and hope that these small part failures do not continue.
