I have been aware of problems with early model Toyota Tundra frame rust problems and have followed with interest Toyota's response [none]however, I feel obliged to inform you that on Friday 25th the gas tank straps failed while driving and the gas tank fell of the vehicle as luck would have it I was slowing down to make a turn so the consequences were limited. But, 30 seconds earlier at 55 mph this most likely would not have been a limited consequence situation. Updated IVOQ 06/30/10.
