Tundra 3.2L V6

This is the second time the shifter on the steering column broke so that you cannot put the truck in Park. The first time was 3-4 years ago and now it broke again.

To charge 5K for this job twice in less than 5 years is wrong. Our Mechanic said this is a serious vehicle defect

Does someone need to die before Toyota puts out a notice on this?
