I recently purchased a set of weatherteck front floor mats part # W40 for my 2006 Toyota Tundra. I ordered these mats under the impression they were a custom fit mat for my vehicle. They include the necessary hooks to attach the mat to the drivers side floor. But this is considered a "generic" mat and sold for all types of vehicles. With the purchaser responsible for modifying them if necessary. The design of the mat positions the right edge directly under the accelerator pedal. When the accelerator is depressed to the floor it will hang on the right edge of the mat. On the weathertech web site it shows 2 pictures of the W40 mat. One of which has the correct shape for the drivers side floor. The other is the wrong design and the one you receive. These mats should not be sold as a "generic" for vehicles they do not fit.

My young son (7) was attemping to play the video station that is part of my new Toyota Tundra's video system. The unit started to catch fire. Within a minute of being plugged in into the behind the headrest video, it started to smoke, black smoke. I quickly pulled over the truck, ran to the back and took the unit out of my son's hands before he was injured. The unit was extremely hot.
