While driving 15 mph through a neighborhood, my water pump and bearings failed. This caused the Tundra's timing belt to snap, which then lead to the pistons/cylinder heads and engine valves all failing (bending/breaking and punching through other engine parts). I was faced with either buying a new engine to install or walk away from the problem. I walked away.
I have a very high opinion of Toyotas in general, but I will never buy another Tundra. This is a massive design flaw which causes catastrophic destruction. Unacceptable!
